windows 7 - Where should I insert this code?

I can't understand where to insert this code (from this answer) to run it and find the ten largest files on the D drive:

Get-ChildItem -Recurse D:\ -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue |
    Sort -Descending Length |

    Select -First 10

I am using Windows 7.
